Zeus arrived on St. Patrick's Day, 2009 at the El Paso Airport. He and his sister were found lost and starving near Tulsa, OK.They were about six months old. A wonderful family took them and brought them back to health. Their pictures appeared on Craig's List for adoption. Members of the HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue saw them and identified them as Giants. HT-Z  provided vet care and started finding new homes for them. I had recently lost Brie and looked at several dogs before choosing Zeus. Wel celebrate his birthday on Christmas Day.

Zeus adapted quickly to his new surroundings. My 16 year old Miniature Schnauzer, Arthur, preferred Zeus to Zack and Brie as he could intimidate Zeus and take over his bed. He did allow Zeus to share it with him on occasion. Zeus also ha a dear friend, my partner's Welsh Pembroke Corgi that we lost two years ago. Clust. They chased balls and frisbees together and wrestled in the living room.

In May 2010, we were joined by Losi. Her owner had a change in job duties with demanding hours and decided to find her a new family. We were the lucky choice.  Zeus and Losi have become fast friends. They play together for hours every day. It is fun to watch them enjoy each other so much. Zeus has a page under his pen name : Poetry and Thoughts on Life by Dr. Zeuss

Below, pictures of Zeus and Losi as well as Zeus with my Mini, Arthur and with the Corgi, Clust. Zeus has longer ears than Losi.
